New or replacement of water service:  All digging will be performed by the City. If boring is required, the cost of the bore, labor, and materials will be added.  The City will make the actual tap into the City water main and provide the  meter, meter well, and stub out about six (6) feet of copper tubing.

Sewer

New or replacement sewer service: Customer is responsible for all digging and supplying of materials.  The City will make the tap to the sewer main and provide the line receiver connection.

Street

Customer is responsible for all digging and refilling of excavation.  The driven portion of the street or alley will be filled with granular material (rock).  After work is completed, all additional repairs and maintenance work will be done by the City.
Rock, Asphalt and Culvert Policy: The resident/person requesting a new culvert or replacement of old culvert pays for the rock, asphalt or culvert pipe and the City crew will install it at no charge.

The City will pay all costs of alleys determined to have significant public or commercial use.
The City will haul rock to private property driveways with the resident paying for the rock and a $25.00 hauling fee.  Limit of two loads of rock per month.

  1. Late Payment/Disconnect Policy
  1. Bills are mailed the last working day of the month. Bills are due and payable by the 15th of the month. A 10% penalty will be charged on the 16th of the month at 8:00am. Electric & Water services will be disconnected on the morning of the 21st for all customers with any outstanding balance on their utility bill.
